About Barbaresco
Barbaresco is a wine region in Piedmont in northwestern Italy. The area is known for its tannic quality wines made from the Nebbiolo grape. The Barbaresco area is next to Barolo, the most famous wine region in Piedmont.
In Barbaresco they make wines from the Nebbiolo grape just like in Barolo. The wines from Barbaresco are often considered more feminine, i.e. lighter with less tannins than in Barolo.
